Welcome

Welcome to my own little corner of cyberspace for all things Stephanie Plum and much, much more. I absolutely love - Okay, I'm completely obsessed with- Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. After diligent searching for anything Plum on the internet, I discovered that the Stephanie 411 was next to nil. So this is my own little contribution to the lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter world of Stephanie Plum whose lot in life is to choose between two blindingly delicious, strong, sexy men; escape the occasional car fire; and refrain from the temptations of a delectible boston creme donut threatening to widen her waistline.

Welcome to Stephanie's Obsession! Please Enjoy!

Katherine Heigl to Star and Produce New HBO Film!!!

Big news KH fans!! Katherine Heigl is going to be starring and producing one of HBO’s new movies, “The Knitting Circle.” I am absolutely ecstatic! I love HBO films. I am completely enthralled right now with the new mini series/movie they have out, “Mildred Pearce” starring Kate Winslet. I think this is a huge move for KH, and I’m way excited to see it!

Here is the article announcing the big news from Deadline.com: (There’s also a small “One for the Money” mention.)

“EXCLUSIVE: HBO Films has optioned the rights to Ann Hood's bestselling novel The Knitting Circle as a starring vehicle for Katherine Heigl. In her first TV project since leaving ABC's Grey's Anatomy and her first collaboration with HBO, Heigl will also produce the movie with her mother and producing partner Nancy Heigl through their Abishag banner, along with Pine Street Pictures. Dirty Sexy Money creator and award-wining playwright Craig Wright will write the adaptation. This marks Wright's return to HBO, where he started his TV writing career on Six Feet Under, a gig that earned him Emmy and WGA nominations.

Heigl is set to play the central character in Hood's semiautobiographical novel, a mother mourning the death of her young daughter and struggling to overcome the grief that jeopardizes every aspect of her life, including her marriage. She begins to find her way back into the world through a knitting circle and the stories its members share. Paradigm-repped Heigl will next be seen in New Line’s New Year's Eve, slated for a Dec. 9 release, and in Lakeshore/Lionsgate's One For The Money, which will come out next January. WME-repped Wright recently landed a pilot order at MTV for coming-of-age comedy Underemployed.”

So, what do you think guys? I think it is great news, and in light of no news for “One for the Money,” this ties me over just fine.

  1. Your anonymous tipster rocks! I like KH a lot & think she'll do well in a series again. Greys was never the same after she left IMO.
