Hey Guys, trying to catch you up on what the "One for the Money" stars are doing now...or at least recently. :)
The always gorgeous Daniel Sunjata is going to be cast in the Batman sequal "The Dark Knight Returns." He plays a special forces officer who teams up with Batman to fight the evil villains. Special forces eh? Sound familiar? There is also a small "One for the Money" mention in this article. ;)

Welcome
Welcome to my own little corner of cyberspace for all things Stephanie Plum and much, much more. I absolutely love - Okay, I'm completely obsessed with- Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. After diligent searching for anything Plum on the internet, I discovered that the Stephanie 411 was next to nil. So this is my own little contribution to the lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter world of Stephanie Plum whose lot in life is to choose between two blindingly delicious, strong, sexy men; escape the occasional car fire; and refrain from the temptations of a delectible boston creme donut threatening to widen her waistline.
Welcome to Stephanie's Obsession! Please Enjoy!

Katherine Heigl Kicking It with Grey's Anatomy Alumn in LA
The always stunning Katherine Heigl was out and about in LA with her Grey's Anatomy friends at the 42 Below Vodka's celebration. She looks absolutely gorgeous in that dress, and I'm lovin' the earrings too!!

New (Old) Picture of Jason O'Mara as Joe Morelli in "One for the Money" Movie
This seems to be just another picture of one of the many taken of Jason O'Mara one day on set. I know I have posted other pictures like this one in these same clothes of JOM, but I can't for the life of me remember seeing this particular picture...
All I have to say is YUM!!!! This is a pretty good pic of the steamy Joe Morelli with what looks like a very strong, commanding swagger! Yowza!!
So, this may be an old picture that most of you have seen before, but it's new to me!!! (*Drool*)
At least I was able to find a tiny morsel (but a tasty morsel at any rate *wink, wink*) of something new (old) on "One for the Money." I wish they'd hurry up with at least a teaser trailer - 15-30 seconds of a sneak peek would be better than nothing at all!! I'd even settle for some nice juicy made up lies about the movie at this point! Anyone up for starting some scandalous rumors? haha Just kiddin'....sort of.
The Help Movie Trailer Official (HD)
I've actually mentioned this book a few times on my blog as a must read, but the trailer just barely came out for the new motion picture they made based on the book, and I thought I would share it with you. This movie comes out in August! Yay!!
I think it looks really good. Very well cast. I love Emma Stone in all of her movies, and Bryce Dallas Howard is perfectly cast as Hilly Holbrook!
This was such a great book, I am sure the movie will not disappoint! Can't wait to see this movie!
Enjoy!! :)

I Saw "Water for Elephants" And....
It was awesome!!!!! It kept very close to the book. The script was sellible and well-written. They took all the right parts out that really wouldn't have mattered in the movie and kept all the critical parts in. The story really flowed nicely. It never seemed like it was droning on and on. The cinematography was beautiful! You really felt like you were back in the 1930s riding along with them on the train. The acting was top notch!! Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz, both oscar winners, did a stellar performance, and Robert Pattinson completely amazed me! There have been times where he has come off green to me in his acting ability, and he had little quirks to his acting methods that at times were distracting, but he completely outdid himself in this movie! He was completely transformed into Jacob Jankowski. Definitely his best movie to date! Robert Pattinson can act, folks! Very impressed!
And finally, Rosie the elephant, totally stole the show! Wow!!
I had a great night, and I was more than satisfied with this movie!! Very entertaining, heart wrenching, shocking, and even at times very funny. You definitely need to go catch this flick! You won't be sorry!
Did I say it was AWESOME?!?!?!!!!
* Spoiler alert!!! * Movie/book spoiler below.

Other Obsession Updates
Hey guys,
It's pretty quiet on the "One for the Money" front, so I thought I'd take a minute and update you on some other obsessions of mine. I've just finished the 10th book of Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse Novels, and I've gone as far as I can go until the new book comes out in May. :( I'm completely jonesing for what happens next! The new season of Trueblood (Season 4) starts June 26th based on book #4 which is still my favorite book so far in the series. I don't want to spoil the plot for any of you TrueBlood fans, but it involves witches and a whole lot of Alexander Skarsgard, a.k.a Eric the Viking vampire. This man is completely delicious and can take a bite out of me anytime. I won't complain at all having a lot more time to drool at Eric on my big screen TV watching him go through some surprising transformations in this next series. I can't wait for it to start!!! I watched the previews HBO had of the upcoming series, and from what they showed....it looked pretty good! If you want to check it out, go to http://www.hbo.com/#/true-blood and click on the short videos they have there.
Also, I just watched an HBO First Look on the other movie I have been dying to see, "Water for Elephants." This movie comes out Friday, and I am so excited to see it!!! The behind the scenes look just made me want to see it all the more. I absolutely love the era of the 1930s and I get excited whenever there is any kind of series or movie based in that time. I love the way things look, the fashion, the heartache of the depression. Most of all, I admire the amazing strength of the people who struggled to survive and thrive during a very dark time in American history. Plus it has Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson!!! (*sigh*) No doubt I'll be in my theater seat smiling like a deranged monkey waiting for the movie to start Friday night!
Well, there you have it.....This is what I have been looking forward to trying to make my long wait for our beloved "One for the Money" movie go just a teensy bit less painlessly. There's also "Breaking Dawn" part 1 of the last "Twilight" book coming out in November I believe. From what I gather, they just finished filming part 1 and part 2 of the Stephenie Meyer's Best Selling "Twilight" series, and the first movie will be out in November. Yes....I'm a Twilight fan!! Go ahead....laugh if you want to. The books are incredibly entertaining...aside from Bella's irritating fragility in the series IMO...and I have also really enjoyed the movies that have come out...even though I think they could have been better.
So...there's just a few of my favorite things for the time being. Comments anyone?

Small Janet Evanovich Interview with "One for the Money" Mention
A very lucky girl got an interview with Janet Evanovich, and "One for the Money" was mentioned. Very jealous! Thanks to an anonymous tipster, I have this interview for you!
"Today I have the incredible honor of posting a quick interview I got to do with Janet Evanovich. Yes, New York Times best-selling author, Janet Evanovich. Most people know her as the author of the wildly popular Stephanie Plum series which is being made into a movie featuring Katherine Heigl. Today we talked about fashion, Cheez Doodles, and favorite funny moments. Enjoy!
How do you create stories that have me and the rest of your loyal audience literally laughing out loud at Stephanie Plum's antics?
I guess I'm a little twisted. It helps to have characters so out there that no matter how outrageous the story line, it seems to make sense for them to be in it up to their eyeballs.
Production is going to start on the new Stephanie Plum movie soon. What was your reaction to hearing that Katherine Heigl has agreed to play your iconic character?
Actually, the movie was filmed last summer and it's in post production now. I sold the movie rights something like 18 years ago, so it's really been out of my hands. I liked Heigl in 27 Dresses.
Anything you can us about the upcoming Stephanie Plum novel? Are there any plans for the series to come to an end? Please tell us no!
First of all, there's no plan to end the series any time soon. I don't want to give too much away about Smokin' Seventeen other than to say that a man from Stephanie's past comes back to town.
What is something we would be surprised to know about your life as a Best Selling Author?
I work in my sweats and get orange Cheez Doodle dust on my keyboard.
I know this might be a tough question but what is your favorite Stephanie Plum moment? Funny or serious?
Gosh, there have been so many. A good one was in Sizzling Sixteen when she and Lula allowed all the cattle to escape from the meat company. I like the funny moments.
And as this is a fashion blog, do you consider yourself a fashionista? How would you describe your style?
I don't think I have a style. Mostly I'm in jeans and a t-shirt. Although I do enjoy dressing the jeans and t-shirt up with a pair of gold Chanel flats."
A very lucky girl indeed!! And I am so glad that the "One for the Money" movie was actually mentioned in this interview. Even as small as the mention is, it's still something while we not so patiently wait for this movie to come out. :) Also, I really think this proves that JE approves of KH playing Stephanie Plum. She didn't have to mention that she liked KH in "27 Dresses," but she did! All I have to say is "Buah-Ha-Ha!!" to all the haters that assumed that JE didn't approve. :P
Thanks anonymous tipster!

Stephanie's Obsession is Getting Noticed
Some of you have probably noticed that I have a "The Trentonian" widget on my website now. To my surprise, I was contacted by the Trenton, New Jersey newspaper not to long ago to be featured in their blog section of their newspaper. I was thrilled!
If you get a second, please go check it out! It's a small blurb, and it just links you back to my site, but Stephanie's Obsession is wearing her big girl panties now!! LOL

Katherine Heigl to Star and Produce New HBO Film!!!
Big news KH fans!! Katherine Heigl is going to be starring and producing one of HBO’s new movies, “The Knitting Circle.” I am absolutely ecstatic! I love HBO films. I am completely enthralled right now with the new mini series/movie they have out, “Mildred Pearce” starring Kate Winslet. I think this is a huge move for KH, and I’m way excited to see it!
Here is the article announcing the big news from Deadline.com: (There’s also a small “One for the Money” mention.)
“EXCLUSIVE: HBO Films has optioned the rights to Ann Hood's bestselling novel The Knitting Circle as a starring vehicle for Katherine Heigl. In her first TV project since leaving ABC's Grey's Anatomy and her first collaboration with HBO, Heigl will also produce the movie with her mother and producing partner Nancy Heigl through their Abishag banner, along with Pine Street Pictures. Dirty Sexy Money creator and award-wining playwright Craig Wright will write the adaptation. This marks Wright's return to HBO, where he started his TV writing career on Six Feet Under, a gig that earned him Emmy and WGA nominations.
Heigl is set to play the central character in Hood's semiautobiographical novel, a mother mourning the death of her young daughter and struggling to overcome the grief that jeopardizes every aspect of her life, including her marriage. She begins to find her way back into the world through a knitting circle and the stories its members share. Paradigm-repped Heigl will next be seen in New Line’s New Year's Eve, slated for a Dec. 9 release, and in Lakeshore/Lionsgate's One For The Money, which will come out next January. WME-repped Wright recently landed a pilot order at MTV for coming-of-age comedy Underemployed.”
So, what do you think guys? I think it is great news, and in light of no news for “One for the Money,” this ties me over just fine.

While we are Waiting...
Hey guys,
While we are waiting for Lionsgate to throw a few crumbs our way with OFTM, I thought we might have a discussion about movies coming out and good books to read. Thanks for the suggestion, Deisel Lover!!
First, the movie that I am totally excited about, apart from “One for the Money,” is coming out fairly soon! It is “Water for Elephants.”
I read the book, which was amazing by the way, and the trailers on it are incredible! It comes out April 22, 2011, and I cannot wait to see what Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson do with this wonderful book! I highly recommend reading the book before you go see the movie. It is only $6.00-$7.00 at your local Walmart!
Check out the trailer here: http://youtu.be/_6b2XhXkPpg
The other movie I am excited about coming out because I have LOVED the movies so far is, “Pirates of the Caribbean, On Stranger Tides”
I absolutely adore Johnny Depp in these movies… What’s not to love? Rawr!!...and they are so entertaining to watch! This movie comes out on May 20, 2011. It looks like some of the original characters, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly, don’t appear to be in this one, but Penelope Cruz looks like an interesting new character for sure, and I love the guy who is playing Blackbeard! (Not sure what his name is.) Anyhoo, I will be going to my local drive-in to see this movie because there is nothing like fresh air, your own comfy pillow, your seat tilted back, and your feet up to make your movie watching experience incredible! Can’t wait!!
You can check out the trailer here: http://youtu.be/wZTtvYLvCRI.
Secondly, I wanted to talk about a few books I have been reading. As you know, one of my other obsessions are the Black Dagger Brotherhood books.
They are a little racy, but they are so entertaining. You completely fall in love/lust with these characters. JR Ward paints a very vivid picture with uncheesy twists and turns to normal vampire stories, and you can really see these characters come to life! I just read her latest book, “Lover Mine,” and I couldn’t put it down! I recommend reading these from the first book in the series “Dark Lover” so that you don’t feel completely lost with the characters. If you like a little swank in your life….try these books. They’re worth your time and a wild ride! ;)
The other book series that I have recently been “hooked” on is the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.
The TrueBlood series on HBO is another one of my obsessions. Yes, it can be a little hokey at times, but there are some interesting twists and turns along the way. Besides….I could eat Eric, Alexander Skarsgard, up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The first book in the series I thought was a little hokey, but it has gotten so entertaining as I have delved farther into the series. My favorite book so far has been book 4, which I cannot remember the name of at the moment, but it is the next book they have filmed the HBO TrueBlood series on coming out in June (Can’t wait!!!) I have to admit that I am hooked on these books now and haven’t been able to stop reading them! They are very entertaining! My next book I’m about to read is Dead and Gone, and I’m way excited to get lost in it! Just need to stop by the local Barnes and Noble and pick it up!
Anyhoo….These are just a few books and movies that I highly recommend seeing and reading! Please, please feel free to comment and give everyone some more suggestions!! I’m always up for a good movie or down for a good read! :)

I apologize for my absence
Hey Guys...I'm back!
I just wanted to thank everyone for all the great comments! I apologize for not responding back for a while. I just seemed to have been very bummed and negative about the whole new date thing. I didn't want to keep the negative vibe going on here, so I took a little break from it for a while.
I'm back, though....and I'm feeling much more upbeat, positive, and excited!
I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer for the good of the movie. Besides...what is that old adage?.....Absence makes the heart grow fonder...You always want what you can't have...If you love something, set it free. If it is meant to be yours it will come back to you...hahaha...not that any of those specifically apply...but you get my way off in left field drift. Right?
Iheartjason is completely right!! The real fans will go see this movie no matter when it plays! I agree wholeheartedly, and I know I'll be there! I'll be that much more excited because the anticipation will have driven me to the brink of insanity at that point. LOL Okay, maybe I overexaggerate a teensy, weensy bit. :)
I think it is going to be a little longer yet before we see any promos, trailers, stills, etc on this movie because of the delayed date. I touched bases with one of the PR people at Lionsgate and was promised they would let me know of any new developments, but they have "nothing to report" as of yet. I'm not holding my breath for this news by any means, but it would be a very nice surprise if they kept their promise to little old me and my humble little blog.
I'm thinking sometime in July we might start to see some more activity, possibly a trailer or something to that effect since that will be the 6 month mark, but that is just a rather overeager guestimation.
In the meantime, I will keep you posted with any new developments. January will be here before you know it!!!

Jason O'Mara in his new TV series 'Terra Nova'
Finally, we have a new interview with Jason O'Mara!! Yay! These interviews are very hard to find folks! This is a really long interview about his role on his new T.V. series, "Terra Nova." It is actually only part 1 of the interview, but it gives you a little glimpse of the sexy O'Mara and how he might take on the character, Joe Morelli. I think he is definitely going to nail the charm and sexiness that is Joe Morelli. I'm way pumped to see his performance. If you want to check out the rest of the interviews, please click on the link below: http://screenrant.com/terra-nova-interviews-stephen-lang-jason-omara-rothc-109117/ Source: Screenrant.com
