‘Speaking with Extra about her new dark brown hair, Katherine confessed that the change "was little shocking at first." She added, "There's always that moment where you're like 'Oh no! No one's gonna know who I am anymore!'"
The reason for the change? Her upcoming role in the film adaptation of Janet Evanovich's novel "One For The Money", where she will portray New Jersey lingerie saleswoman turned bounty hunter Stephanie Plum.
"I don't know how to do the Jersey accent yet, but I will practice," Heigl said. "I downloaded all of the 'Jersey Shore' because I thought that could help me."’

I can't wait for this movie. It's going to be worth the wait, I think. :) She's so sweet isn't she? I really like her. And to think I really wasn't a fan until The Ugly Truth. LOL Loved the movie.
ReplyDeleteMe either. It is going to be sooooo great!! I think she is really nervous about the fans liking her as the new SP. I liked "Knocked up", but I don't like Seth Rogan, so that kind of ruined it for me. I really liked "27 dresses" though, and I loved "The Ugly Truth" Mostly it was because my all time crush, Gerard Butler, was in it, but also I really think that KH did well in that role with all her quirks and expressions. I'm sorry to say that I didn't especially like "Killers" but everyone is entitled to a flop now and again....as long as it isn't 'OFTM.' Life as we know it was truly amazing and her best film to date. Loved it!

I just hope that fans of the books will not refuse to see the movie because they do not agree with the casting choices.
It's funny because--I am listening to all the books on cd right now and the first 6 were read by one person. I am now on Seven Up and there is a different reader and it is so distracting to me. I got used to the voices that the first reader did and this new person is doing them very differntly. Especially Grandma Mazur. The first 6 have her with a kinda low gravely voice and this new reader has her with a very high pitched voice. It is almost making me want to stop listening!
My point is that this is the way some people are feeling about the casting I think. You get so used to one way that a change can just ruin it for you!
Personally--I can't wait!
