Welcome

Welcome to my own little corner of cyberspace for all things Stephanie Plum and much, much more. I absolutely love - Okay, I'm completely obsessed with- Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. After diligent searching for anything Plum on the internet, I discovered that the Stephanie 411 was next to nil. So this is my own little contribution to the lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter world of Stephanie Plum whose lot in life is to choose between two blindingly delicious, strong, sexy men; escape the occasional car fire; and refrain from the temptations of a delectible boston creme donut threatening to widen her waistline.

Welcome to Stephanie's Obsession! Please Enjoy!

My Take on "Pirates 4"

Well, as you know, "Pirates of the Carribean 4" came out this weekend, and I went to go see it Saturday. As I've said before, I love this franchise and was excited to see what they did with the new movie. I have to be honest, this one was not my favorite out of the franchise. There was something I felt was lacking in the movie. The special effects were excellent. The fight scenes were expertly and brilliantly choreographed. The scenery was amazing, but it just didn't live up to the same caliber of a "Pirates" movie in my eyes. I was entertained, don't get me wrong, but I didn't come away from this movie loving it like I have loved the past 3.

With having to write a strong script without half of the original cast, I think they did a pretty damn good job, but I was just a teensy, weensy disappointed. The movie did exceptionally well this weekend hitting over 90 million in box office sales, and I still hope to see the ever sexy Johnny Depp come back as Captain Jack Sparrow in yet another sequel. Anyone know if there are plans, rumors to keep going with the series?

So, if you want to go see an entertaining movie this upcoming weekend, I still give this an A-!  It's worth the price of your movie ticket! And if any of you do end up seeing it, please, please let me know what you thought!  I'd like to hear everyone's take on the movie.

This looks like an awesome cast!! I'm a big fan of DeNiro, Keaton, Sarandon, and, of course, Heigl!! Can't wait to watch this movie. You know what really confuses me, though? -Okay, a lot confuses me, but still- This movie hasn't even been filmed, but it already has a movie poster??  Where's the art for "OFTM" people?  Okay, I'm done with my mini rant.

Anyhoo, can't wait to see this film!! Go Katie, go!!

Sherri Shepherd Talks About Lula in "One for the Money"

Sherri Shepherd had a chat with SheKnows and dished on her character, Lula, in "One for the Money." I only attached the "One for the Money" portion of the interview, so if you want to see the whole interview, please click below:

http://www.sheknows.com/entertainment/articles/829293/sherri-shepherd-talks-

"When SheKnows sat down for a chat with Sherri Shepherd, it was hard to know where to start. The View co-host was on cloud nine over hosting the 42nd Gospel Music Awards, but the actress, standup comic, writer, Newlywed Game hostess, mom and bride-to-be has so much more going on, as well. She dished on just about everything from wiling out on 30 Rock to going pro in One for the Money, not to mention her duties as a mom and fiance with a wedding to plan!

SheKnows: Will Stephanie Plum fans be satisfied with the big screen version of One for the Money?

Sherri Shepherd: I hope they will! I read five of Janet Evanovich's books and from the first time I read One for the Money, I saw that Lula and thought, "If that gets turned into a movie..." When I found out they were auditioning, I put on a tube top, a miniskirt and my five inch heels and walked down the street with that little outfit on. Barbara Walters said, "Where are going, dear?" "I'm going to book this movie!" Lula is so lovely and funny. She curses and says a lot of stuff, but she's got a heart of gold. She starts off as a prostitute and becomes a bounty hunter. What happens to make her go through this change? That's what I love and I think people are going to fall in love with her."

So what do you think? It sounds to me like she really gets who Lula is. I'm likin' this chick even more now! She had read the books before she even knew there was a movie coming out! Love her enthusiasm! Can't wait to see her in action and what she does with this character!!
